How should I supply photographs?
Digital photographs can be sent by email attachment to our main contact address, ruth@paintportraits.co.uk. High quality JPEG format images are best – but you can use TIFF or BMP format too. If you’re having problems sending files, let us know. We have a trained geek who can help you out.

Can I post you some photographic prints?
That’s no problem. It’s best to post duplicates if they’re cherished though. Ruth will give you her postal address on request.

What size should the photo I supply be?
The bigger the better. The more detail there is in the original image, the more that Ruth will have to work with.

Do you paint from life?
Live sittings are a bit time consuming, tricky to schedule and the quality of the result can be poor. So – for the time being – the answer is a reluctant “no”.
